- My sister and I are "Annie Louise". We live in sunny Southern California. Ever since we were kids our mom would take us to estate sale and garage sales. So I guess it is only natural that we still both love to go to garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores--- nothing more exciting than the thrill of the hunt and the find!! Some garden spruce up before the rain hits
Hi everyone,
Jackie and I decided to do a little garden spruce up before the big rain storm hits on Sunday. It was so much fun seeing all the wonderful color, greenery, and fragrant flowers, herbs, shrubs and trees. We really had to rein ourselves in not to overspend. My favorite flower that we purchased is a white hydrangea. We planted in the backyard cottage garden.
We also purchased some wonderful fragrant lavender and an orange tree rose (the stick looking thing in the blue pot : ) for the front of the house. We like to keep the front of the house fairly simple, since we spend more time in the backyard.
Basil was also on our list to purchase, to go along with the fourteen tomato plants we planted last weekend. We can't wait for all the fresh, yummy tomatoes, cucumbers, chives, parsley, dill, basil, oregano........ we anticipate our garden will produce. Hope you are able to enjoy your gardens this weekend, or someone else's garden or even Home and Garden Television : )

Thrifty Finds--so much fun!
Good day everyone,
Jackie and I hit various thrift stores and found some great items. Some are great as is and some need a little TLC, but loving everything we found. Even our dog, Hunter, was curious about what we found :)

Old Towne Orange Flea Market
First and foremost a huge "Thank You" to incredibly sweet, beautiful and talented Irma, from Cosas Bella. She stopped by our booth at the flea & encouraged us to take pictures of our booth. She even offered for me to send her the pictures and she would gussy them up for us---so sweet---since I really have no idea how to manipulate pictures.
